论like + -ing 和 am/is/are + -ing 是完全不同的两件事
① like/love/enjoy/hate + -ing：表示"习惯性喜好"——I like swimming（我喜欢游泳，指经常喜欢）。动词用 -ing 形式。
② am/is/are + -ing（现在进行时）：表示"此刻正在做"——I 'm writing now（我现在正在写）。结构是 be + 动词-ing。
怎么区分：like 后面是"活动的名字"（swimming = 游泳这项活动）；am/is/are 后面是"正在进行的动作"（writing = 正在写）。看到 like/love/enjoy/hate 就用 -ing；看到"正在/现在/right now"就用 be + -ing。
考试怎么考：Reading Part 5 填空：横线在 like 后 → 填 -ing；横线在 am/is/are 后 → 填 -ing。都要 -ing，但语法结构不同——一个是"动名词"（当名词用），一个是"现在分词"（当进行时用）。

② enjoy doing 享受做…（enjoy 后永远 -ing）
③ prefer A to B 比起 B 更喜欢 A（prefer 后接 -ing 或名词）

① play 的三兄弟：play football（球类不加 the）、play the guitar（乐器加 the）、play chess（棋类不加 the）。KET 完形专考这个。
② go + -ing 表活动：go swimming / go fishing / go shopping——不能说 do swimming。
③ hobby 是可数名词：My hobbies are...（复数加 s）；What's your hobby?（单数）。"你有什么爱好"用 What do you do in your free time? 更口语。

口语用 -ing 更自然：I like playing football（我喜欢踢足球）——英国人日常这样说。
like to do 更偏"选择/习惯"：I like to read before bed（我喜欢睡前读一会儿）。
考试怎么考：Reading Part 5 横线在 like/love/enjoy/hate 后 → 填 -ing。enjoy 后面永远是 -ing，不能说 enjoy to do。

① 标志词：now、right now、at the moment、Look! Listen!——看到这些用进行时。
② -ing 变法：write → writing（去 e 加 ing）、run → running（双写）、play → playing（直接加）。
③ 别和一般现在时混：I usually play football（通常，一般现在时）vs I 'm playing now（此刻，进行时）——一个讲习惯，一个讲当下。
