① monkey→monkeys：元音 + y 结尾直接加 s（不是 monkeys 的另一种）。baby→babies 才变 y 为 i。
② fish 单复数同形：one fish / two fish（不是 fishes）。
③ in the tree vs on the tree：外来的（鸟、猫）在树上用 in the tree；长在树上的（苹果）用 on the tree。
④ loud vs loudly：Movers 只考形容词 loud（It's loud），不考副词。

① 不能丢 be 动词：The elephant drinking ❌ → The elephant is drinking ✅。中国孩子最常漏 is/are。
② run→running（双写 n）：辅音 + 元音 + 辅音结尾，双写尾字母加 ing。swim→swimming, sit→sitting。
③ make→making（去 e）：不发音 e 结尾去 e 加 ing。take→taking, ride→riding。
比较级起步 · 形容词 + er than

① big→bigger（双写）：重读闭音节双写尾字母。small→smaller 不双写（因为 l 前是元音 a，但 small 不是重读闭音节）。

考试怎么考："The tiger is ___ (big) than the cat." 填 bigger。
