It's Monday morning. I wake up and look out of the window. "What's the weather like today?" I ask Mum. "It's sunny and warm," she says. "It's a beautiful spring day!" I look at the clock. It's half past seven. "Oh no! I'm late for school!" I jump out of bed. I have breakfast quickly and put on my school uniform. "What time do you go to school?" Mum asks. "I go to school at eight o'clock. The first lesson starts at half past eight," I say. My favourite season is autumn. In autumn, the weather is cool and the leaves are beautiful. Summer is too hot, and winter is too cold. But spring is nice too — the flowers come out. I love all the seasons, but I love sunny days best of all. Now I must run to the bus stop — I don't want to be late!

问天气：What's the weather like today? = How's the weather?（两种问法都对）

答天气：It's sunny / rainy / windy / cloudy.（It's + 天气形容词）

高频陷阱

① 月份星期首字母大写：monday ❌ → Monday ✅；september ❌ → September ✅。

② in spring / on Monday：季节用 in，星期用 on，时刻用 at——in summer, on Friday, at eight。

③ rainy vs raining：It's rainy（形容词，天气状况）；It's raining（动词现在进行时，正在下雨）。

④ autumn = fall：英式 autumn，美式 fall；Movers 认 autumn。

最高频陷阱

① half past 后接下一点：7:30 是 half past seven（不是 half to seven）。

② quarter to 是"差一刻"：7:45 是 a quarter to eight（差一刻到八点）。

③ It's rainy ≠ It's raining：前者是"多雨的"（状态），后者是"正在下雨"（动作）。

④ 季节月份介词：in spring / in May / on Monday / at eight——四个介词别混。
