Last Sunday, my phone stopped working. The screen was broken, so my dad took it to a repair shop. "Have you ever tried a day without your phone?" he asked. "No, I haven't," I said. So I had a phone-free day. In the morning, I read a real book — I haven't read one for months! I also wrote a letter to my cousin. I haven't sent a letter for years. In the afternoon, I played board games with my family. We laughed a lot. In the evening, my dad said, "Your phone is repaired now. It's made of new glass." But I said, "I don't want it back tonight. I've had a great day!" My friends still send me messages every day, and I often chat with them online. Technology is useful — but sometimes it's nice to switch it off and enjoy real life. Have you ever tried that?

课文精讲 · 现在完成时的"种子"

论have done：跟过去的"连接线"

现在完成时 = have/has + 过去分词：I haven't read a book for months（几个月没读书了——从过去到现在）；I haven't sent a letter for years（好几年没寄信了）。

KET 阶段只要求"认识 + 会用标志词"：ever（曾经）、never（从未）、just（刚刚）、already（已经）、yet（还没）、for + 一段时间（I haven't... for months）。

被动句的种子：Your phone is repaired（被修好了）、It 's made of new glass（由新玻璃制成）——be + 过去分词，表示"被…"。

为什么这章重要：现在完成时是 PET 的核心时态。KET 阶段先混个脸熟，PET 再系统学——这是剑桥体系的坡度设计。

高频陷阱

① 打电话三种说法：call sb（打电话给某人）、phone sb（同）、ring sb（英式口语）。"给你打电话"说 I'll call you，不是 call to you。

② on the phone / on my phone：I'm on the phone（在打电话）；I watch videos on my phone（在手机上看）。

③ laptop 和 computer：laptop 笔记本电脑（可携带）；computer 泛指电脑。KET 听力会区分这两个词选图。

这两个是 PET 的核心语法。KET 阶段的目标：认识结构、会用标志词、能听懂——为 PET 铺路。

论三个高频过去分词

不规则动词要提前积累：be→been、go→gone、do→done、see→seen、read→read（读音不同）、send→sent。

KET 必考句式：Have you ever + 过去分词？（你曾经…过吗？）——口语 Part 1 听力 Part 3 都爱用。

完成时 vs 过去时：I went to London last year（过去时，有具体过去时间）vs I 've been to London（完成时，强调经历）。有 last year/yesterday 就用过去时。

① be made of / be made in：It's made of wood（由木头制成——材料）；It's made in China（在中国制造——产地）。

② be called：My town is called Greenfield（被叫作…）——Unit 10 学过的 called 就是被动。

③ 认识即可：KET 阶段被动只要求"看得懂、听得懂"，PET 才要求主动写。

Examiner: How often do you use your phone?
Tom: I use it every day. I usually check messages in the morning and play games in the evening.
Examiner: What do you use the internet for?
Tom: I use it for my homework — I search for information for my projects. I also chat with my friends online.
Examiner: Do you think technology is good or bad?
Tom: I think it's mostly good, because we can learn new things and talk to people far away. But sometimes I spend too much time on games, so I should use it less.
Examiner: Have you ever sent a letter?
Tom: No, I haven't. I've only sent emails and messages. But my grandma sends me real letters — they're nice!

得分点：① 用 I think + because 表达观点；② 完成时 Have you ever...? No, I haven't 回答正确；③ 主动承认缺点（spend too much time）+ 改进（should use it less）——展现成熟思维，口语加分项。
