Ben has three pencils: one is green, one is yellow, and one is orange. We count together: one, two, three! I like my new friends. Goodbye, see you tomorrow!

高频陷阱

① "颜色"英语是 colour 还是 color：剑桥用英式 colour（口语/试卷常见），两个都认识就行，考试写哪个都不算错。

② orange 既是橙色也是橙子：It's an orange. 可以是"它是一个橙子"，也可以靠上下文理解颜色。Starters 看图题不会这么绕。

③ 数字 thirteen / fifteen 别急：Starters 只要求会 1–10，11 以上到 Movers 才学。现在把 1–10 数得像儿歌一样顺。

④ How old 后面跟着 be：How old are you?（你）／ How old is he?（他）——不是 How old you。

Verb "to be" & Introducing Yourself

be 动词是英语的"第一块砖"：I am、You are、He/She/It is。Starters 所有自我介绍、说颜色、说年龄，全靠它。这一章把 am / is / are 一次分清。

最高频陷阱：am / is / are 别选错

口诀：我用 am，你用 are，is 跟着他她它。I am... / You are... / He is... / She is... / It is...

考试怎么考：Starters 读写 Part 2 看图选词："It ___ red." 选 is（不是 are）。"I ___ six." 选 am。

缩写要会读：I'm = I am，It's = It is，He's = He is。课文里读顺了，考试看到就认识。

问名字与年龄
What's your name? — My name is Lily. / I'm Lily.
How old are you? — I'm six.

考点：What's your name? 和 How old are you? 是 Starters 口语必考的两问。

说颜色与数量
What colour is it? — It's red.
How many pencils? — Three!
