考官问 "Do you think people today are too dependent on their phones?",如果你只说 "Yes, phones are bad",这是 5 分。
|---|---|---|---|
| Part 1 | 日常寒暄 | I / my | 流利问答(AER) |
| Part 2 | 个人经历 | I / a person | 连贯独白(讲故事) |
你甚至可以说 "I don't have a strong opinion, but on one hand... on the other hand..."——这很正常。
Well, I think it's a double-edged sword.
On one hand, video calls let us stay in touch with family living abroad, which was much harder in the past.
On the other hand, in real life people often sit together in the same room but each stare at their own phone.
For example, at family dinners, I've noticed that relatives barely talk because everyone is scrolling.
So overall, technology connects us across distance, but it can weaken the relationships that are right in front of us.
✗ Phones are very useful. I like phones.——这是 Part 1 层级,没有思辨。✓ 改用 on one hand / on the other hand 两面都讲,最后给平衡结论,这才是 Part 3。
In many families... / Nowadays, a lot of people... / It seems that...
That's an interesting question. I've never really thought about it, but I guess... / Well, it depends.
练习:对 "Do you think children should study at home online or at school?"
Online learning is flexible and can save commuting time.
But children need face-to-face interaction to develop social skills, and studying at home can be distracting.
I think school is better for most children, though online learning can be a useful supplement.
|---|---|---|
| 亮两面 | It's a double-edged sword. / It cuts both ways.
| 正方 | On one hand, ... / It is true that... / An argument in favour is...
| 反方 | On the other hand, ... / However, critics argue that... / Having said that, | 讲缺点 |
| 原因 | This is mainly because... / The reason is that... / It stems from the fact that...
| 举例 | Take ... for example. / A good illustration is... / In many cities,...
On balance, ... / In the long run, ...
| 缓冲 | That's an interesting question. / It depends. / I'd say it depends on...
On balance, yes. On one hand, green spaces improve people's mental health and give families a place to relax. On the other hand, building parks is expensive, and some argue the money should go to hospitals first. Take my city for example — a new park reduced traffic noise and became a popular weekend spot. In the long run, I believe parks are a wise investment because healthy citizens cost less in healthcare.
练习:用上面句式库,对 "Do you think people should keep working after retirement?"
- 框架:缓冲 → On one hand(经验宝贵、保持活跃)→ On the other hand(该休息、给年轻人让位)→ Overall(取决于个人意愿,制度上应允许选择)。
- 提示:务必出现 on one hand / on the other hand / overall 三个连接词。
Part 3
1:Do you think social media has a positive or negative effect on people's relationships?
2:Some people say children today have too much freedom. Do you agree?
3:How might jobs change in the future because of artificial intelligence?
- 1(示范):It's a double-edged sword. On one hand, it helps us keep in touch with old friends. On the other hand, online likes may make people feel insecure, and shallow interactions can replace real meetings. Overall, I think it depends on how we use it.
It depends. On one hand, freedom builds independence and creativity. On the other hand, without clear boundaries, children may waste too much time on screens. I think a balance is best.
- 3(示范):I think AI will replace repetitive tasks but create new jobs. On one hand, factory and office routine work may be automated. On the other hand, people will need skills like creativity and emotional intelligence that machines can't easily copy.
- 评分自查:有没有 on one hand / on the other hand?
