复杂从句嵌套：写出 C2 学术长句的骨架

The study, which had been cited and which had shaped the field, rested on a sample that was too narrow. C2 学术句靠多层从句嵌套。这一课练多重关系从句、What 主语从句、介词+which。

读法：从根出发，5 大块顺序走。全记住你就通关了。

③ 先认识它：嵌套的本质：一句话里塞多个事实

C2 长句不是啰嗦，而是把相关事实打包进一句。核心名词后面挂一串修饰，读起来紧凑。

What the researchers overlooked was that the sample, which was drawn locally, could not represent the nation.

研究者忽略的是：那个取自本地的样本无法代表全国。

上限：三层以内。超过就读喘不过气，拆成两句。

① 学术 Essay 开头

What the debate often overlooks is that the problem is structural, not personal.

辩论常忽略的是：这问题是结构性的，而非个人的。

② 介词+which 替代 that...on

The theory that the system relies on → the theory on which the system relies.

系统所依赖的理论。

③ 节奏：长短句交替

一句长嵌套后接短句，避免全篇冗长。

⑥ 中国学生高频错误诊断

错误 1：介词+which 漏介词❌ the topic which they agreed。✅ the topic on which they agreed。

错误 2：What 从句谓语数错❌ What he said were true。✅ What he said was true（主语从句作主语，谓语单数）。

错误 3：嵌套过深一句套四五个从句，读者迷路。拆成两句。

错误 4：关系代词多余已用 that 作主/宾语就别重复主语。
